My spring break officially began at 8:00 yesterday morning.  Nothing like waking up at 8 am Monday morning to kick off spring break!  Party animal over here!

I stayed at school over the weekend to work a few extra nights, but since there was hardly anyone (a.k.a no one) in the building, it was easy peazy.  I spent the weekend running errands, hanging out, and getting homework done so that I have very little to worry about for the rest of break.  I will say that I am super jealous of everyone that participated in St. Paddy’s day festivities.  I didn’t completely think that one through!

At least I had some fun food…food’s always good, right?!photo(30)

BBQ Chicken Nugget Nachos with Cheddar and Corn


B&J’s Salted Caramel Core Ice Cream.  I have been patiently waiting to try this since the day the Core flavors came out.  I picked it up at Target and let’s just say, Russ and I finished 3/4 of the pint in one night.  The core was deeelicious.  Looking forward to trying the other flavors!

photo(32)Oatmeal with spinach and tomato omelet.  After all the not-so-healthy food, it was great to have fresh food- especially because Russ made it! 🙂

Okay, so that’s it.  I am home now with literally nothing on my agenda.  I had a dentist appointment yesterday morning, so I don’t have much else going on for the rest of the week.  I’ll probably just stalk everyone’s photos of Aruba, Cancun, and the Bahamas and stare longingly into the crystal blue water through my phone.  Ha!  [Kidding.  Kind of.]

And one more perk of being home…fresh food for the win.
