Hi friends!! Happy Friday from SWITZERLAND
I´m here for a shorter than usual trip. Arrived late last night, spent the day wandering around today, then tomorrow we are off to CHAMONIX for the day, and then I´m back to Madrid early Sunday morning. Spain is going to feel tropical after the cold that they have here!!!
Honestly, it really isn´t all that bad if you´re bundled up. I´ll probably be singing a different tune tomorrow at more than 3,000 meters in the air (from a mountain top).
Here are a few things I´ve been loooovin´lately.
Kaki (Persimmon, for you American folk)
I really think these aren´t popular/ common in the U.S but they should be! They are SO GOOD!!! I buy at least 4 per week and love them on their own or on top of yogurt.
Big curls with the flat iron
Where have I been?! I know that everyone uses a flat iron to curl their hair, but it never occurred to me that, um, I can do it too!! And I love the way the curls come out big and flowy.
This recipe for this incredible Moroccan Chicken with Apricots and Dates.
It looks complicated, but it couldn´t be easier and it´s delicious. (The recipe is for a slow cooker, but I did it on the stove without any issues). Serve it with cous cous. You´re welcome.
All of the cool new murals I have been seeing around Madrid.
Every week it seems like their is a new one and I always stop to take a picture.
My brother is coming on Monday!!! I couldn´t be more excited to show him my stomping grounds.
And last, but not least… this photo kills me. DEAAAAAAAAAAAAD.
That´s it! I hope you have a fun, cozy, crazy, relaxing weekend. 🙂
