The final post and the final day of the trip!  What a better end to the All-American trip than a day in Ventnor NJ?

After getting back late from NYC the night before, we slept in a bit, had some breakfast, and got ready for our last adventure.

My parents were already down in Ventnor (New Jersey), where they rent a share house a few weeks each summer.  We drove down and got there after way too many back roads thanks to a shifty GPS.  Luckily, the surf and sun cured all my negative feelings….

This lunch from Lamberti’s on the bay helped too. (FYI, they have an awesome happy hour during the week, with really good drink specials and beautiful sunsets).

After lunch, we took a ride to Long Port, and then over to OCNJ.

To end the night, we had dinner at one of my favorite spots, White House Subs

^”You eat this….for….dinner???”

Luis and I finished the night with a walk through the Tropicana and along the boardwalk.

The next day, I took him to the airport and he jetted back to Spain!  I honestly had the best time during our 10 day trip around the US and I think he enjoyed it too.  It was a completely new way to see the US, as a tourist, but as a citizen as well.  Writing these posts has helped me relive it!
