Hello, Hello and Happy Friday!  I want to quickly check in an say hello before signing off for the weekend ahead… not that I have anything big or exciting happening for the weekend, but I like the idea of spending less time on the computer on the weekend and then I’ll be back on Monday so wherever you are, I hope you have a nice weekend!

1 // I just signed up for a (free) EveryDollar account, which is a budgeting website.  I read about it on The Shu Box blog and so far, I really like it!  It’s running a little slow on my computer, but I think it’s my computer and not the program.  I am excited to sit down with it and set some real budgets, but it’s hard to get started when I’m not in Madrid and also this month has been so crazy with travel plans.

2 // I made bagels today!  It’s been SO long since I made them that I actually had to look up the recipe!  The bagels came out really well, but completely different from my bagels back in Madrid.  I’m convinced it’s the different flour/ water.  They were delish.

3 // We took Teddy (the dog) to the vet this morning because he had huge chunks of black gunk in his ear and the vet said it’s an ear infection, so we got some meds for him and he should be good as new in no time.

4 // Last night we had steak, grilled corn, and pico de gallo for dinner and it was everything my summer dreams are made of.

5 // I think I will be reunited with my Madrid crew this weekend!  Can’t wait to see them and finally be social.
