Happy Valentine’s Day!
I hope you are having a greeeat Friday and have some fun plans for tonight, whether that be a cozy night in, a wine night with your friends, or an exciting night out! Russ and I are making dinner together and I’ll share on Monday. Until then, thank you for your support of A Spoonful of TLC and just know that I LOVE each and every one of my readers!
I don’t know about you, but this is our SEVENTH snow day this semester! This is our fourth week of class and I honestly feel like I haven’t been there at all.
I haven’t been letting this crazy weather slow me down, though. All of these snow days have given me a lot of couch time, so I make an effort to get up & get moving for at least part of the day…and then I make a big cup of coffee and veg out 😉
Saturday: Nike Training Club Andrenaline workout! This one focused on legs and it was TOUGH, but a good one.
Sunday: Nike Training Club Transformer Workout. This one focused on arms and I’m still sore. I have never done so many burpees and push-ups in my entire life.
Monday: Rest.
Tuesday: Rest.
Wednesday: 10 minute jog on the track, 2 minutes of abs, 1/2 mile sprints on the track, 2 minutes of abs, repeat the 1/2 mile-ab combination 2 more times, 10 minutes of sprints and jogging. Then triceps. It was a good workout!
Thursday: 4 miles (35 minutes) of HIIT on the treadmill. I did 10 seconds of each: 8.5, 8.8, 9.0, 9.1 and 20 seconds of 6.5. I was so sweaty! Then a chest workout and abs.
Friday: Stuck inside, so another Nike Training Club workout. I did the Pioneer workout, which is under “Get Lean- Advanced”. I really wanted to do an hour, so once that was over, I did a few minutes of abs and then ten minutes of NTC Power Legs. My muscles were shaking like crazy! I promise, these workouts are awesome!
Okay, so just because you can’t go to the gym because of the snow doesn’t mean a sweaty workout isn’t possible! Download the Nike Training Club app, orrrr do the workout below. It will help you get right ‘n’ tight for that special someone 😉 Haha JK.
**If you are unsure about some of the workouts, look to YouTube for how-to videos.
Enjoy and have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!
