I saw this survey on a couple of blogs these last few days, so I decided to give it a go! I always like reading the surveys on other blogs 🙂
1. What did you eat for breakfast?
I’m actually filling this out the day before it will be published, so this morning I had….another tropical smoothie, followed by a half of piece of toast with an egg and the other half with peanut butter and jelly! Big breakfast because I am ALWAYS hungry at work. Tomorrow (when this will be posted), I’ll be having omelets, strawberry-rhubarb pie and fruit salad for family brunch. I’m very excited 🙂
2. How much water do you drink a day?
I really don’t know since I drink from water bottles and glasses all day. Depending on how hot it is, I probably drink 60-100 ounces of water each day. I always have it with me!
3. What is your current favorite workout?
Biking to work is a lot of fun and really relaxing! I have also been swimming everyday, but I can’t say I love it.
4. How many calories do you eat a day?
No clue, but I imagine 1800- 2000. I snack all day. I guess it also depends on if I’m really busy and the seasons- cold= more food.
5. What are your favorite healthy snacks?
I snack all. day. long especially at the pool! I like cold fruit and homemade granola bars! Anything portable is good. Oh, I also really like the Trader Joe’s Cheddar Puff Popcorn.
6. What do you usually eat for lunch?
In the summer, I eat a salad almost every day for lunch. They’re refreshing and I add so many toppings to give them extra staying power! When I’m at the pool, I don’t really sit down for lunch, but rather eat throughout the entire day and call it lunch. For example, today I had a salad, a banana, a pear, two granola bars, a little bit of popcorn and some grilled chicken…all eaten over the course of seven hours. That’s pretty standard 🙂7. What is your favorite body part to strength train?
Triceps! I also really like legs as well, but convincing myself to do them is another story.
8. What is your least favorite body part to strength train?
Shoulders. Ouch.
9. What are your “bad” food cravings?
I don’t think there are any “bad foods” because everything is okay in moderation. Except for hot dogs. But I know what this means soooo my favorite is definitely fudge brownies and ice cream (cookies and cream or anything with caramel!).My mom picked the JACKPOT ice cream…check out all that caramel! It doesn’t get any better.
10. Do you take vitamins or supplements?
Nope! I tried, but never remembered.
11. How often do you eat out?
Rarely…maybe once a month. I enjoy eating out every once in a while, but eating at home is usually easier and cheaper.
12. Do you eat fast food?
No. It doesn’t appeal to me.
13. Who is your biggest supporter?
My parents and Russ.14. Do you have a gym membership?
Yes I do.
15. How many hours of sleep do you get a night?
I aim for eight. I’m a zombie if I don’t get enough sleep and I’m usually in bed by 11 so I can get up bright and early 🙂
16. Do you have a “cheat” day?
I don’t have “cheat days”, but I’m usually more relaxed about what I eat on the weekends. I just had an AMAZING dessert, but usually only do that once or twice each week. If I’m out, I try to be more relaxed as well! If I have a healthy diet during the week, there is more room for treats on the weekend 🙂
17. Do you drink alcohol?
Yes, I do. Occasionally.18. Do you have a workout buddy?
My dad when I’m home! We don’t workout together, but we go to the gym together. And my friend Hannah.
19. What is the best thing that has changed about your life since committing to a healthy lifestyle?
I look forward to working out every day! And I love trying new recipes! I also love helping people have a healthy lifestyle, showing them that exercise can be FUN and teaching tips and tricks that I’ve picked up over the years.20. What was the last healthy thing you did?
Had a big bowl of ice cream…
Oh, and biked home from work 😉Helmets make anyone look good.
