Hello, End of 2025

Well, it is December 18th and is offically over 2 months since my last post. To be fair, I wrote a post on my phone about 6 weeks ago and never posted it.

This is that post, plus some:

Hello there friends and family!

It’s been a bit since I’ve checked in and this is due to none other than that sometimes I don’t have the mental capacity to post, but I enjoy reading back on these posts.  A lot of my creative energy the last few weeks has gone to tiktok – check out my videos! Don’t laugh at me (my big fear) or notice me in public (also big fear, will turn bright red).

Sine I last posted, things have been chill. This time of year (referring to November) is usually incredibly insane and stressful for me and this year it’s just not. Is that the calm before the storm (spoiler alert, it was – Thanksgiving was insane)? Or that we have an intern that does much of the admin nitty gritty stuff? Could be either and I hope it’s the second one.

Let’s look back on photos to jog my memory.

We went to A Coruna for a wedding a few weeks back. Luis got toasted and was inviting people to shots *which are free*. He woke up a beautiful princess.

A Coruña was beautiful and sunny, which apparently isn’t always the case. We walked along the beach, enjoyed delicious bread and pastries, and had a lovely time at the wedding. We also used the weekend to relax (I took a 3 hour nap the friday we arrived!)

The whole time we were there I truly missed Pacharan. Before we got him, I was worried that it would be a mistake to get a dog. That he would be a ton of work and add to my frazzled feeling, or he would be a pain (constantly bark, etc).  He is the opposite. He is sweet, cuddly, pure happy dogginess and does Bad Dog Puppy Things. He calms me when I am stressed, he’s warm and fluffy and doesn’t care if I am upset, he gives kisses, gets us out of the house multiple times a day and sitting on the bench at the dog park has become something that I truly look forward to after a long day.

I have a lot more photos. I will refrain from posting them for fear of being one of Those People.

Besides work, we’ve been up to the usual.  Seeing friends, going out to eat, and on Sunday night we went to the gym and the spa! Our gym has a great spa that we just discovered and finally went to for the first time on Sunday. It was a great way to end the weekend. (This was written in October – we now generally go to the spa 1x per week and I love it).

Other Things:

MAZÁL:

Dipping our toes in bread.

Trying the pancakes and french toast

Preparing for Tova!

The challahs looking great.

I just like the picture.

Thanksgiving 2025 went well and was traumatizing at the same time. I am happy it’s over for another 11 months.

We went to Israel (just Tel Aviv) for research for Tova and had a GREAT TIME. Loved the food, the vibes, the energy, the coffee, the hummus, the vibrant spices, the Shuk, the burekas, the coffee on the hostel terrace every morning, the inpiration the trip gave us, the beach, the sun, the plants. Did not love getting back (TLV airport: stressful). If you are wondering, TLV felt “normal”, happy, buzzing, and not nearly as expensive as I remembered it being. Maybe prices in Madrid have skyrocketed or prices in TLV have not gone up without as much tourism.

Last but not least – we spent a weekend in Siguenza with 11 friends. We went for two days, but we took enough stuff to go for 2 weeks. Sheesh!

Where is Pachi?

That is all! Happy Thursday!
