That title doesn’t even do this place justice, as the restaurant that I’m about to tell you about is absolutely incredible, and even though I have only been there one time in my life, I recommend it to everyone that is going to Paris and always get the most amazing feedback (including this weekend, when one person included me in their Instagram post about it). Obviously, since I am a kind and generous person, I thought I should share this information with the interwebs.
Because this place is just that good.
And because it’s not touristy.
It’s full of local people.
It’s not fancy-schmancy, but they are serving real French food.
Annnnd the prices are totally reasonable.
And it tastes amazing, did I mention that?

Now for the good part: the recommendations
- You MUST order the the “Piperade” on the menu. (Actually, I think that’s what we ordered, but be sure to clarify that it’s cheesy potatoes (think scalloped potatoes with delicious mushrooms, that comes in a hot skillet)
- Basque Chicken, which was chicken thighs cooked with rice and tomatoes. Also served in a skillet.
For reference, see the photo below:
We ate every single last bite. Including the bread.
I promise, you won’t be disappointed. If you do go there, please let me know what you thought!
