I had dinner last week at Goiko Grill because my friends wanted to give it a try. I was skeptical at first, considering it’s a chain, but since they wanted to go, I was down. Overall, the food was good, but pricey for what it is. Also, this may have just been the Goiko we went to, but the service was incredibly slow. Read below for my full review.
- Address: All over Madrid. We went to the one in the plaza Bilbao
- Atmosphere: lively, casual, franchise-y
- Type of food: burgers (like 12 kinds!), and some lighter options like salads, beer
- What you should order: There is a burger for everyone. I tried the ____ which was a beef burger with plantains and melted camembert. It was good, but very, very greasy and left my stomach in knots. HERE is the menu.
- Other comments: Like I said, the burgers are good and it’s a good place for a casual night, but service was slow and I thought the burgers very very greasy. I prefer a higherquality burger for that price (about 12.50€ for the burger and another 3€ for the beer).
- Tip: Make a reservation- it does fill up.
Rating: 6.5/10 for food, 7/10 for atmosphere (it feels like a fast food place), and 6/10 for service- we waited over 30 mins for someone to take our order.
