A New Beginning

Hi and WELCOME to my {semi} new space.

Before I go into details about the new look and name, lets backup to today’s workout and breakfast!
Workout
I was completely exhausted when I got to the gym today, but after I got moving, my workout turned out to be a good one!
-two mile warm up run
-a series of back exercises
-ab exercises
-ten minutes of speed intervals on the treadmill
-25 minutes of swimming laps at work

*I wasn’t going to do the ten minutes of intervals, but my GymPact said I had only been at the gym for 25 minutes (after the 20 minute run outside), so I needed to stay 5 more minutes.  Sometimes, the app can be motivating!
Breakfast
Once I got home from the gym, I was so ready to eat so I put together my new favorite! (sorry for gross picture)20130802-165909.jpg
Oats with Parmesan and cheddar cheese with an egg.

A Spoonful of TLC
Getting to this point has been on my mind for….months. When I started this blog, I couldn’t think of a good name so I just went with two foods that I love- Peaches and Peanuts, and that name has sort of hung around for the last couple of years, but changing the name has always been on the back of my mind.

Well, when I ran out of blog space, I decided that it was time to finally choose a name that I liked and go for it. That brings us to now- with a new name, a new look and a new start! (After purchasing the domain, I realized that it didn’t give me any extra GB.  Womp womp.)

TLC is not tender, loving care, but actually my initials. So, A Spoonful of TLC is going to be a place where I share some food, workouts and experiences- little bites of my life- basically what it has been for the last few months.

Enjoy 🙂

If you stop by over the next few days, you may see a few changes. I can’t figure out how to put my site “under construction”, so I will just have to do everything while the site is live.

If any experienced bloggers are reading this, I need some help:
How do I make it so my blog doesn’t run out of space? It says that I used all 3 GB. Do I need to purchase more space?
-Should I switch to wordpress.org?

Thanks for continuing to read my blog and I hope you’ll stick around as I make a few changes!20130802-163021.jpg
