Checking In VIII.

Making: Greek-yogurt bread!  It’s so easy and so good!  Think soft, fluffy bread that’s only made with flour, yogurt, eggs, baking soda, and salt.  I will post a recipe soon!
Cooking:  this winter, I have been loving this fall wheat berry salad by Kath Eats.  Super easy to keep in the fridge and pull out for lunch.  See above (plus roasted root veggies)
Drinking: wine.  tinto (red).
Reading:  currently reading a book called All The Light We Cannot See, by Anthony Doerr.  Picked it up at the library.  So far, it has me intrigued, but not loving it, despite the great reviews.  I think I might pull the cord and get a kindle.
Wanting: this over-sized red sweater from Bershka!  Looks cozy.  And this dress from Mango.  And this one.
Looking: forward to the holidays- so cozy with all the lights and comforting food and generally happy spirit.  I want to ride the NaviBus.  If you’re in Madrid, you should too!
Eating: oatmeal.  for the longest time, I was totally into cereal and milk, but these icy mornings makes me want hot oatmeal with milk and cinnamon.  And coffee.  Also, still eating a lot of smoked salmon and…wait for it…blue cheese.  Something I NEVER thought I would like…
Wishing: for health and happiness for my loved people.
Enjoying: life, en general.
Loving: hot tea, but sadly I am out of my Celestial Seasonings!
Hoping: that some of these weird feelings disperse.
Listening: to Bastille.  like every day.  over and over.  (I wrote this in my last Checking In, and it hasn’t changed)
Feeling: sleepy, at the moment.  And hungry.  Going to eat as soon as this is posted.
Wearing: sweatpants and my mom’s sweatshirt, which I always think is like getting a hug from my mom.  I could go for a real one right now.
Watching: nothing atm, but I saw that The Girlfriend Experience is back on Netflix, so maybe I will start that.
Bookmarking: this recipe for butternut squash risotto (YUM) and this recipe for a similar, but lighter butternut squash grain bowl.
