How to Have a Perfect Friday in Madrid in 5 Easy Steps

Hi!!  And HAPPY FRIDAY! IMG_2548

I really can’t believe it’s already Friday because this week literally flew by.  Monday was easy peasy, Tuesdays are always great thanks to no lessons in the afternoon, Wednesday was less painful than usual, Thursday was AMAZING, and that brings us to today!  The weather was a bit warmer this week, which always puts a little pep in my step and makes the days so much better.  After school lessons are going to be a reeeeeeaaaaaalllllllllllllllll struggle once the weather really gets nice.  Maybe I will just quit all of my lessons and spend my afternoons reading in the grass at El Retiro?!  (WHICH I CAN DO BECAUSE I JUST OPENED A LIBRARY ACCOUNT!!!) #nerd.

Fridays are always great and make me the happiest, but today was especially perfect and it ain’t even over since the fat lady hasn’t sung.IMG_2567

So.  How to Have a Perfect Friday in Madrid (there is more than one way, obviously)

1 // Wake up late, have oatmeal in a peanut butter jar with lots of melted peanut butter, and then drink too much coffee while watching Fuller House.IMG_2555IMG_2557 I know I sh*t all over Fuller House last week and while I still think it’s incredibly cheesy, I am actually really enjoying it!!  The episodes are short and I love the way they do flashbacks to the old show and lots of references to the current day.

2 // Meet a friend for a long walk around MadridIMG_2559

3 // Have drinks and life talks at a table outside.  Soak up the sunshine.IMG_2561(The first picture I took had the background in focus and that blond lady was death staring at the camera.  Scary stuff)

4 // Go to El Retiro and lie in the grass while continuing your life talks and stories.IMG_2563 IMG_2562

5 // Have lunch in Lavapies at an Indian Restaurant and get a ton of food for just 8 Euros.IMG_2570

6 // DISCOVER A PUBLIC LIBRARY with books in English and take out 4 right on the spot*
