Luis in the USA, Part VII (Visiting Ventnor, NJ)

The final post and the final day of the trip!  What a better end to the All-American trip than a day in Ventnor NJ?DSC_0826

After getting back late from NYC the night before, we slept in a bit, had some breakfast, and got ready for our last adventure.DSC_0813

My parents were already down in Ventnor (New Jersey), where they rent a share house a few weeks each summer.  We drove down and got there after way too many back roads thanks to a shifty GPS.  Luckily, the surf and sun cured all my negative feelings….DSC_0814

This lunch from Lamberti’s on the bay helped too. (FYI, they have an awesome happy hour during the week, with really good drink specials and beautiful sunsets).DSC_0837 DSC_0845 DSC_0846

After lunch, we took a ride to Long Port, and then over to OCNJ.DSC_0871

To end the night, we had dinner at one of my favorite spots, White House SubsIMG_2771IMG_2774IMG_2777

^”You eat this….for….dinner???”

Luis and I finished the night with a walk through the Tropicana and along the boardwalk.IMG_2779

The next day, I took him to the airport and he jetted back to Spain!  I honestly had the best time during our 10 day trip around the US and I think he enjoyed it too.  It was a completely new way to see the US, as a tourist, but as a citizen as well.  Writing these posts has helped me relive it!IMG_2760
