Hi friends (and fam!)

Long time no talk!  Like I said in my last post, I have a new job that, while it isn’t all that hard, it keeps me out for much of the day and then when I get home, I have a ton of thigs to catch up on.  Plus, I have been running around all of Madrid like a chicken with it’s head cut off every morning for the last week, trying to deal with this nationality stuff.

Maybe I’ll write a post about that.  And then in the evenings, I have been working on organizing a week-long trip to Portugal, as well as a 12 day trip to the West Coast of the USA.  Yeah, life is hard (kidding, kidding), but it is BUSY, which is why I am so MIA.  Every day, my to-do list says ‘blog’ and every night, I go to bed without it being done.  When I sat down today to write about my weekend, I realized that I didn’t actually take many photos, but suffice it to say that it was a SUPER FUN WEEKEND despite some rocky moments.  There was pool time, runs, I went down a water slide 3 TIMES, ate a lot of cold fruit, and spent some time getting things in order so I feel less frantic.  I don’t really have many photos of the weekend, so I’ll share some of the other random photos I’ve been holding onto- most of which come from the things I am doing with CIEE.  If you think I am loving the activities we do each day way more than the kids, you are right.  Cooking class?  Ceramics class?  Pool day?  Visiting the fútbol stadium?  Going to an amusement park (tomorrow)?  YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
