Unpacking and Re-packing

Hey, hey, hey!

I’m completely full of energy at the moment because I just drank WAY too much espresso with almond milk, but hey! I’ll need the energy because I have so much to do today!  I leave for school TOMORROW *cue water works*, and need to get my life in order before then!

Before we talk about that, let’s back up to this morning, shall we?

Workout

Today really is the last day I would have been able to sleep in for awhile, but I have way too much to do, so I got up (kind of) early to get to the gym.  The early bird gets the worm, right?  No?  Besides, I slept until ten yesterday.  TEN!  I haven’t slept that late all summer, but when I woke up at 7:30 and it was dark, raining and thundering, I went back to bed.  Ah, the life.

Anyway, when I got to the gym, I went out for my usual 3 mile run that turned into a 4 mile run.  Run Keeper wasn’t working, so I went by time and assumed that 40 minutes= 4 miles.  Slow, slow, slow, but the weather is awesome today.  After my run, I completed a triceps workout followed by ab exercises.  I think I’ll be sore tomorrow since I have been focusing on slow and steady movements when lifting, since Russ told me I should do that.  Usually I try to speed through the exercises, which is no bueno.

Breakfast

Well, actually, I ate a small bowl of oatmeal with Honey Bunches of Oats and Silk Vanilla Soy Milk before heading to the gym, so no breakfast for me.  However, I will be having lunch with my two best friends!  I think we’re having omelets, so more like brunch, but nonetheless, I’m excited to see them!

Unpacking and Repacking

Alright, so I may not have actually unpacked anything except my clothes when I got back from school three months ago.  I just pushed all of the stuff into the corner of my room and forgot about it, but here we are, three months later…and I need to unpack it all and repack it for tomorrow.001I had grand plans to tackle this over the weekend, but Orange is the New Black got the best of me and I watched six episodes of that instead.  Yes, six.  That’s embarrassing, but if you haven’t watched it, then you need to.

So for the rest of the day, I’ll be zipping from here, to the library, to Target, to Bed Bath & Beyond, to the supermarket, to Trader Joe’s, and back here to pack and then make dinner.  My parents have been away and are getting back tonight, so I’m throwing myself a “Good Bye and Good Luck” dinner.  I’m making lasagna and kale chips- two of my favorite foods.  Hey, if they won’t do it, then I’ll do it for myself.  Even though I know I’ll be home in a couple of weeks 🙂

Alright, well I’m off to get busy!  I’ll leave you with an adorable picture of Toby (who seems to be feeling much better, thank goodness). photo(20)11That hair!
