Guys, hold on to your hats because I did something earth shattering- I switched up my breakfast for the first time in probably two years!
Strawberry- Banana 2% Greek Yogurt (my favorite) with a sliced peach, a handful of Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal and Barbara’s Shredded Spoonfuls, almond milk and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
There were two random peaches in the dining hall, so I didn’t hesitate to take advantage of that. Unfortunately, it was a bit mealy, but it’s winter, so I didn’t think it would be a juicy summer peach. It was delicious and a nice change, but there is something about oatmeal that I’m addicted to and I think I’m okay with that!
My mid-morning snack has come in the form of MUFFINS! Peanut butter- banana muffins, to be exact. They’re kind of dried out since I accidentally left the bag open, but they one small muffin keeps my stomach happy for almost two hours!
Lunch this week has been courtesy of my dad for taking me on a big shopping spree in Trader Joe’s! I’m such a daddy’s girl…
I’ve been having Butternut Squash Soup with a sprinkle of cinnamon and a slice of bread and avocado on the side. Simple, but satisfying.
I TRIED to make that picture look appetizing, but there is nothing to be done. Just pretend it looks as yummy as it tastes.
Is it just me, or does this avocado look radioactive green?
It’s not a huge lunch, so I get hungry a couple hours later and snack on crackers, an apple or a yogurt.
Dinners are always up in the air, and they’re usually salad + something stir-fry. Instead of showing the same old, same old, here is the amazing dinner I had with my family on Friday night. There is nothing like a home-cooked meal after being away for a few weeks, especially when it comes in the form of home-made Chinese food!
Bedtime snacks have been yogurt, fruit, or crackers.
That’s a wrap!
