What I Ate Wednesday #7

Hi!  This beautiful weather is making everything happier and less stressful, so I’m able to pop in here and write this without feeling like I have a ton of work to do (which I do), but sunny days make everything better!

Warm weather means meals eaten outside, and it also means I get to wear DRESSES!  I openly admit my obsession with dresses and look forward to the day that the temperature rises above 65 degrees because that’s warm enough for a dress, right?

I don’t actually have a chunk of my head missing…

ImageMoving on…Warm weather doesn’t change breakfast:

Image
Farro, oatmeal, Barbara’s Shredded Spoonfuls, banana, vanilla almond milk, cinnamon and a big spoonful of apple butter

I also had a big cup of HOT coffee.  I forgot that iced coffee was a thing…it’s been cold outside for so long!

Even though breakfast remains the same, the warm weather means lunch can be big salads-with every possible topping- eaten outside with Christine 🙂

Image
Spinach, spring mix, mushrooms, red and green peppers, carrots, tomato, cucumber, broccoli, egg, chick peas and sunflower seeds. Am I forgetting anything?

With watermelon- perfect summer fruit!

Look John, another picture with my hand in it!

Dinner isn’t for a few more hours, so I will probably have a cheese stick and crackers and the rest of my watermelon between now and then.  I’m not sure what dinner will be, but here is the concoction that I was talking about on Sunday.  I took some better pictures when it was daytime.  It’s so good, especially when I’m starving (which has been every time I’ve eaten it…)

Don’t knock it til you try it!

It’s a lot of processed food, but it’s not as bad as it could be and it gets the job done!

Last, but not least, warm weather means dessert can be frozen yogurt dates with my friends who I don’t see often. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t storm tonight!  Luckily, I went last night as well…

And on a complete side note, my genetics professor brought in models of DNA that she printed from her 3D printer.  What?!?!  How did they come up with this?!

Mind blowing.

Well, that’s all I have for you!  If it’s warm where you are, get out and enjoy it!

Adios, amigos.

p.s. I had more visits and views on the post (Dear Russy)
