Fitness Friday: Painter’s Workout

Happy Friday!

Like I’ve said before- the days tend to blend together when I’m home on break, so today being Friday doesn’t mean too much to me.  Another thing that happens when I’m home is that I am a lot less disciplined when it comes to getting to the gym.  I’ve been putting the gym off until the afternoon and then I find every excuse why I shouldn’t go.  Looking back, I still managed to do some decent workouts, but it feels scattered 🙂

Saturday:  50 minute run + abs + pushups.

Sunday:  Rest.

Monday: I seriously cannot remember…

Tuesday:  3 mile run outside + triceps + abs.

Wednesday:  33 minute run outside (it was FREEZING). + 7-8 hours of painting!  [Side note- last Christmas, I ran 20 MILES!  I stuck to three this year.]

Thursday:  12 hours of painting!  My arms and back feel like I entered a body building competition.

Friday:  About to head out the door for a 40 minute run and a half hour at the gym.  I plan to do a shoulder or chest workout and abs.  When I get back, I’ll probably  paint for another 3-4 hours!  I swear it never ends.

I guess it’s not too shabby, but I would like to do a bit more weight training next week.  After going to the gym once this week and doing ab work, by abs were sore for two days.  Here’s to a productive week of workouts to counter balance New Years Eve, seeing friends, and general laziness 🙂

Have a wonderful weekend!
