I have been on my winter break for over a week now and the time is just completely flying by. This is the first time in a long time that I have nothing planned. No job, no volunteering, no schedule and it’s amazing.
I usually get very anxious with too much time or no set schedule, but I’m completely embracing this freedom. I’m trying to do things that I have been wanting to do for a long time, but haven’t had a moment to do them.
I have been cooking and baking
Volunteering
Each month, my family and I volunteer with the Jewish Relief Agency. We put boxes of canned and fresh goods together and then deliver the boxes to 20-30 families.
Thrifting
Check out that gem! You can always count on finding some interesting things at thrift stores.
Going to the gym. It’s the only reason I don’t sleep the entire day!
I ran 15 miles last week and I plan to run 17 miles tomorrow with my brother. It will be the furthest that I have ever run! I’m really excited to see if I’m able to do it.
Spending time with family for the holidays
Okay, so this picture was taken over Thanksgiving. We’re not a photo family. I’m working on it, though!
Oh, friends and the bar have found their way into my week as well!
It’s been a great week and I start to sweat when I think about the fact that there are ONLY four weeks left!
Life is good.
Until next time!
