I was just poking around my Google photos trying to find pictures from past trips and was thrilled to find exactly what I was looking for and then double thrilled to see I had written a post about that very trip with details about where we stayed, where we ate, what we did. Life happens so incredibly fast and small (and big) details get lost into a big blur so it’s nice to be able to look back and remember moments fondly (or try to remember them at all…it’s amazing how much of LIFE gets forgotten…yet equally amazing how we remember tiny details from what was otherwise a normal day). For example, looking back at pictures from a trip to Portugal, I barely remember some of the beaches where we went, but I remember the fish we ate at the restaurant by the beach.

In short, I do like having a place to go back and see what certain times look like…the last two and a half years have been a total black hole, but I don’t have anything to look back on and see the progress! Maybe now that I paid 200 dollars, we can change that with some more frequent posting!
This short post has taken me way too long to post and I have to run to our new shop to meet with one of the candidates for the construction company. He is the first one to give us a price quote on the entire project so … let’s see how that goes This one wasn’t my favorite of the bunch, but he is the first to send us any message at all. Once I finish that meeting, I will go over to Mazál to say hi to them and then I will go home and relax. These last fews weeks have been incredibly slow so I am trying to embrace the slowness and enjoy a little more downtime…yesterday I read the NY Times magazine cover to cover.
