The First Week of School

I guess my absence from here gives you come idea as to how the first week went, huh?  If not, we’ll, it’s been a looooonnnnngggggggg week. Mucho mucho.  I’m taking the following classes: Physics, Organic Chemistry, Biology, Art and Science of Healthcare, and labs for the three science courses. It’s the same number as classes as college, but feels like high school because we have classes back to back to back, so I’m in such basically from 8:30-3:00.

So far, physics is the hardest, followed by organic chemistry and then biology.  I have a feeling that this order is here to stay.  I’ve got to say, for the people in my class (most) that have never seen biology or organic chemistry or physics, I give major props for being able to juggle all of this.  This is going to be enough of an uphill climb and I’ve taken organic chemistry and tutored biology.

This week alone, I have probably spent 20 hours on just homework and we are just getting started! I need to devote some time to reading the chapters this weekend, because we are already on at least chapter 3 in every class and, whatdoyaknow, but homework is so much harder when you have no idea what you’re doing! Incredible.

on the bright side, everyone is really nice, the city is a fun place to be, I enjoy taking the train, and this is all leading me somewhere.
