Reading: Bringing Down the House by Ben Mezrich. It’s about the team of MIT students that used card counting as a way to win in Vegas and they got away with millions.
Wanting: this dress from Nordstrom and this shirt from Nordstrom. But i don’t know if I can pull the $45 plug. Oh, and these black jeans from Nordstrom. And everything else from Nordstrom. That free shipping and free returns thing is oh so tempting, but I have to resist!! For now…
Looking: forward to going to the beach this week! And looking forward to going back to Spain and having some fun before school starts! Oh!! And looking forward to seeing Shannon and Claire TOMORROW!
Eating: Trader Joe’s almond butter. I love it on their dried apple rings.
Wishing: I could freeze time and stay in summer just a little bit longer, while the sun is shining bright and the air is warm, but not humid. I wake up to the sounds of birds chirping in the morning and cicadas buzzing at night.
Enjoying: Cleaning! I’m so strange, but I have spent a lot of time here back in the States cleaning everything that I have neglected for years. From my closet, to my drawers, to our basement and the kitchen. My mind feels less cluttered when there is less surrounding me.
Loving: that the new iPhone 7 comes out next week so hopefully the 6 price will drop and I can get myself a little birthday present. Hm. Also that I saw Hannah and Emily for Korean food this week! So great to catch up.
Hoping: that I have Friday’s off this year!
Listening: Por fin te encontre by Cali y El Dandee ft. Juan Magan.
I’ve been playing this on REPEAT whenever I run, do treadmill sprints, or need a little pick-me-up
Feeling: content! This has been a really great summer and I feel very…fulfilled? But I also feel ready to go back to Spain and be with my people and have an incredible year!
Wearing: workout shorts and a tank top. Like always.
Watching: I haven’t watched TV in the entire month that I have been home (except for the news), but my parents and I watched The Fundamentals of Caring on Netflix. It was so good. Highly recommended.
Bookmarking: The running of the balls instead of the running of the bulls in Spain. Strange concept.
