We went to the Bastille concert at the Liacouras Center last night and had an absolute BLAST.
Definitely on my list for best concerts I’ve ever been to! Except…I’ve never been to a bad concert….soo……
Anyways, I knew most of the songs, we were on the floor (!!!), and Bastille put on an awesome show. They even played their cover of No Scrubs by TLC and it was AMAZING. The crowd loved it and was super energetic. I think it was my favorite song of the night, even if it isn’t originally theirs.
Notable mention goes to Bad Blood, Pompeii, and Poet. As well as all of their other songs.
At one point, they played “their most depressing song” and told everyone to take out their lighters, or their modern day equivalent, and the entire place lit up. Super cool to see, especially from the floor.
Russ and I (and his friends!) really had so much fun and I feel so lucky to have been able to get those tickets!
It was a GREAT way to celebrate my good grade on my Orga test!!! I think I earned the bragging rights.
Now if only I could go to a concert after every test….
